Merrill’s girls were second with 100 points in a three-team meet at Hemlock on Wednesday. Alexis Maike won the discus and Bonnie Wietfeldt took the pole vault.
Clare’s girls won a three-team track meet at Hemlock on Wednesday with 191 points. Breona Meyer won the 100 meters and Madison McPhee won the 200 meters and 400 meters for Clare. Holly Pummell won the 800 meters, Victoria Harper the 1,600 meters and Jasmine Harper the 3,200 meters. Kyrsten Kruskamp won the 300 meter hurdles. Clare also won the 400-meter relay and 3,200-meter relay. Tealen Brown won the shot put. Kyrsten Kruskamp won the high jump and long jump.
Merrill scored 64.5 points to take third place in a three-team meet on Wednesday at Hemlock. Ethan Apsey won the high jump at 5-10 and long jump at 18-2.75.
Hemlock scored 75 points to place second in a three-team boys track and field meet on Wednesday. Mick Bauer won the 400 meters in 55.61. Ethan Apsey took the 300-meter hurdles in 43.09. Hemlock won the 800-meter relay, 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter relay.
Clare’s boys track team scored 188.5 points to win a three-team meet at Hemlock on Wednesday. Alex Haupt won the 100 in 11.99, and the 200 in 24.63. Hunter Nivision took the 800 meters n 2:06.01, the 1,600-meters in 4:43.17 and the 3,200-meters n 10:189.69. Clare won the 400-meter relay. Tyler Gilespie won the shot put and dicus. Chase Field won the pole vault in 10-6.
Allison Dorr won the 1,600-meter run in 6:07.79 to lead Birch Run’s effort on Wednesday in a three-team meet at Breckenridge. Birch Run took first in the 400-meter relay in 59.05. Bayley Trinklein was first in the high jump at 5-0 and Hali Motley won the pole vault in 7-0.
Carly Jenkins won the 800-meter dash in 2:45.64 to lead Breckenridge’s effort on Wednesday in a three-team meet at Breckenridge. Kirsten Olling won the 3,200-meter run in 11:27.55. Breckenridge won the 3,200-meter relay in 11:00.1.
Tayla Guerrero took the long jump in 5-0, won the 100-meter dash in 13.84 and the 200-meter dash in 28.69 to lead Alma in a three-team meet at Breckenridge on Wednesday. Kaylynn Brechdt won the 400 meters in 1:08.58. Madison Doolittle won the 100-meter hurdles in 18.55 and the 300-meter hurdles in 54.52. Alma won the 800 relay in 59.90 and 1,600-meter relay in 4:42.06. Cassidy Nelson won the shot put and Lexi Morton took the discus.
Jake Partee of Breckenridge won the 300-meter hurdles to lead his team Wednesday in a three-team meet at Breckenridge. Kyle Smith won the shot put and discus in 45-1 and 122-7. Partee won the high jump in 5-4 and Kyle Wheeler the pole vault in 12-6.
Tanner Niedecken was first in the 400-meter dash in 55.91 seconds on Wednesday for Birch Run in a three-team meet at Breckenridge. Chase Austin won the 110-meter hurdles. Birch Run won the 400-meter relay in 47.55.
