Saginaw Arthur Hills’ boys track team scored 35 points to finish third on Wednesday a three-team meet. Midland Dow was first at 70 and Flint Southwestern second at 58. Anthony Debardelaben was first in the 100-meter dash in 11.06 seconds. Jamar Hardy won the 110 hurdles in 16.3 seconds and Waleed Mannan took the 300-meter hurdles in 45.90. Arthur Hill also took the long jump with James Vaughn covering 19-9.

 

Midland Dow snuck past Flint Southwestern 70-58 in  track and field meet on Wednesday at Dow. Saginaw Arthur Hill was third with 35. Dow got firsts from Chris Brenton in the 400 meters, Michael Carey in the 800 meters, Zach Hoffman in the 1,600 meters and Jackson Storer in the 3,200 meters. Dow won the 1,600 and 3,200-meter relays.

 

Bay City John Glenn’s girls track team was second among three teams in a meet Wednesday against Ogemaw Heights, which had 79 points, and Beaverton, which had 26. Lindsey Kreifeldt won the 800 meters in 2:44.3 while Kimble Darby was first in the 1,600-meter run and first in the 3,200 meters in 13:45.51. Brooke Richard won the discus.

 

Bay City John Glenn won a three-team boys track and field meet Wednesday with 97 points. Ogemaw Heights was second at 59. Winners for John Glenn were Chris Schnell in the 400 meters, Joe Wohlschied in the 800 meters, Grant Rivet in the 1,600 meters, Austin Bublitz in the 110 hurdles, and the 3,200-meter relay team.

 

Emily Mann of Saginaw Nouvel won the 800 meters in 2:50.2 to lead her team in a track and field meet with Bullock Creek and Valley Lutheran on Tuesday. Nouvel also won the 1,600 relay in 4:56.4 and the 3,200 relay in 11:59.7.

 

Haley Wehner led Saginaw Valley Lutheran with a first-place time of 29.2 seconds in a meet that included Midland Bullock Creek and Saginaw Nouvel on Tuesday. Also taking firsts were Sarah Cabala in the 400 meters in 1:10, Ariel Muehlfield in the 300-meter hurdles in 58.1 seconds, the 400 relay team in 54 seconds, Alisha Schuman in the shot put with a throw of 29-4 and Addi Pickleman in the high jump at 4-10 and long jump at 14-11.

 

Midland Bullock Creek’s Jessica Stanick clocked the 100-meter dash in 13.88 seconds for first place in a meet Tuesday that included Saginaw Nouvel and Saginaw Valley Lutheran. Chynna Biggs won the 100 in 17.3 seconds. Sarah Schiable threw the discus 97-0 for first place.

 

James Sira won the 3,200-meter run in 10:44 and the 1,600-meter run in 4:53.5 to lead Midland Bullock Creek in a meet that also included Saginaw Nouvel and Saginaw Valley Lutheran on Tuesday. Also winning for Bullock Creek were Brandon Helm in the 200 meters, Tyler Chapin in the discus and Michael Robertson in the high jump.

 

Tim Iltis won the 100-meter dash in 12.0 seconds for Saginaw Valley Lutheran in a meet that included Saginaw Nouvel and Bullock Creek on Monday. Other Valley Lutheran winners were Stephen Greenwell in the 110 hurdles, Ricky Butler in the 300-meter hurdles and the 400 relay team.

 

Khristian Goode won the 400-meter dash in 56.26 seconds for Saginaw Nouvel in a meet with Bullock Creek and Saginaw Valley Lutheran on Tuesday. Robi Stuart won the shot put and Ryan Sullivan was first in the long jump.
