Lakeview lost a pair of CSAA games in baseball action last week, 5-4 and 15-1 to Chippewa Hills. Kyle Ridgeway and Jordan Stephens were the losing pitchers. Garret Cavendish had three hits and two RBIs in the first game.

 

Lowell defeated Greenville 8-0 in girls soccer action last week. Kirsten Hillker had five saves and Danata Paulino six saves for Greenville.

 

Cedar Springs’ Austin Sargeant won the 3,200 meters in 10:04.04 in the 1,600 meters where he was second in 4:27.64 in the Cedar Springs Invitational on Saturday.

 

Josh Patterson led a solid effort for the Rockford boys track and field team Saturday at the Cedar Springs Invitational by taking first in the 100-meter dash with an effort of 11.55 seconds. Nate Woznak was first in the 200 meters in 23.61 seconds. 

 

Breckenridge’s girls track and field team scored 15 points to place 15th Friday in the Shepherd Blue Jay Invitational. Dominque Adams was fifth in the 3,200 meters in 12:16.42.

Alma scored 56 points for girls track and field to take 12th in the  Shepherd Blue Jay Invitational on Friday. Lexi Morton threw the discus 94-4 for second place.

 

Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart’s track and field girls team scored 59.5 points to place 11th in the Shepherd Blue Jay Invitational on Friday. Jodi Hauck was second in the high jump at 4-8 and Skylar Nelson tied for third at 4-6.

 

Clare posted 61.5 points to place 10th for girls track and field Friday in the Shepherd Blue Jay Invitational. Jasmine Harper was second in the 800 meters in 2:26.07.

 

Potterville’s girls placed eighth with 89.5 points Friday in the  Shepherd Blue Jay Track and Field Invitational. Sam Stanton won the 100-meter hurdles in 17.38.

 Mount Pleasant’s girls track and field team scored 99 points to finish seventh on Friday in the Shepherd Blue Jay Invitational on Friday. Whitney Taylor was fourth in the 800 meters at 2:30.40.
