Holt scored 55 points to take fourth place in the CAAC Blue Division championship girls track and field meet recently. The best event was the discus with Nadia Gonzales second at 107-1 and Imani Taylor fourth in 99-0

 

Grand Ledge scored 90 points to take third in the CAAC Blue Division championship girls track and field meet recently. Chino Ekwueme was first in the 100 meters at 12.72. Madeleine Glew won the 800 meters in 2:22.54 and the 1,600 meters in 5:08.6. Stephanie Vanis took the 3,200 meters in 11:33.08. East Lansing won the 400 relay in 50.60 seconds and the 800 relay in 1:45.08. Kathleen Russell took the pole vault in 9-6.

 

East Lansing scored 128 points in girls track and field to take second in the CAAC Blue Division championship recently. Elizabeth Hones won the 200 meters in 26.07.

 Okemos scored 153 points in girls track and field to win the CAAC Blue Division championships recently. Ayda Alavi won the 400 meters in 1:00.68. Ashlynn Schiro won the long jump in 17-5, the 100 hurdles in 15.35 seconds and the 300 hurdles in 44.47. The 3,200-meter relay team won in 10:01.61. Daria Richards won the high jump in 5-0.

 

Lansing Sexton finished sixth with 33 points at Jackson in the CAAC Blue Division track and field championship meet recently. John Norton won the discus at 141-2.

 

Holt took fifth with 65 points at Jackson in the CAAC Blue Division championship meet recently. The 3,200-meter relay team of Grant Colligan, Alberto Gomez, Ian Velasque and Mark Danks was second in 8:12.03. Tyler Todd was first in the high jump at 6-0 and Marshall Ranke first in the pole vault at 12-0.

 

Grand Ledge took fourth with 80 points at Jackson in the CAAC Blue Division boys track and field championship meet. The 400-meter relay team of Joe Reverman, Austin Edwards, Stefan Jones and Ba Biamo was first in 42.69. Edwards won the long jump at 23-1.

 

East Lansing took second with 91 points at Jackson in the CAAC Blue Division boys track and field championship meet. Antonio Clark was first in the 400 meter (48.63), Kentre Patterson won the 110-meter hurdles (14.5) and the 800 relay (1:30.26), and the 1,600-meter relay (3:20.96), 

 

Okemos finished first with 157 points recently at Jackson in the CAAC Blue Division boys track and field championship meet. Tristan Bolas was first in 10.90 in the 100 meters and 200 meters in 22.22. Also first were Andrew Armada in the 800 meters in 2:01.39,  Kael Fineout  in the 1,600 meters in 4:28.10, and 3,200 meters in 9:38.43, the 3,200-meter relay and Peter Torres in the shot put (43-3 1/2).

 

Lowell’s girl track and field team was sixth last week in the O-K White Conference meet. Alon Watson was second in the 100 meters in 13.24 seconds. Rachael Walters won the 400 meters in 58.23 seconds. Walters was third in the long jump (15-9)
