Mason scored 108.5 points to win the Division 2 regional at Mason in boys track and field action recently. Nathan Jones, Mason VanDyke and Paul Pioszak were one-two-three in the 800 meters. Derek Troxwell won the 300 hurdles in 40.00 seconds. The 3,200 relay team won in 8:06.39.
Greenville’s girls soccer team lost 8-0 to Northview last week in girls soccer action. Danata Paulino had 16 saves as Greenville’s keeper.
Greenville’s baseball team lost 11-6 to Forest Hills Eastern on Thursday. Kolton Dunham had three hits for Greenville. Calvin Syrala took the loss.
Lakeview split a doubleheader with Hesperia last week, losing the opener 11-1 and taking the nightcap 7-6. Garrett Cavendish had four hits in the twinbill. Lakeview is 8-12.
Carson City-Crystal’s baseball team swept Fulton 12-4 and 10-2 last week. Jeremey Schneider and Arron Haines were winning pitchers. Dallas O’Green and Chris Krukowski had two hits in the first game and Garner Cusack three in the second game.
Central Montcalm defeated Big Rapids 7-4 on Thursday in Central State Activities Association action to improve its record to 19-10 Malory Morgan was the winning pitcher. Makala Studley had two hits.
Montabella’s golf season ended at the districts last week with a 403. Michael Hyde at 92, Dakoda Lobert 95, Josh Balhorn 99, Casey Ewell 117 and Cameron Nisonger 145.
Central Montcalm’s season ended with a 390 at districts last week for boys golf. Mason Ferguson and Calab Daggett had 85s, followed by Josh Mitchell at 99, Gunther Ebels 101 and Nate Saladin 129.
Greenville’s boys golf season ended at the districts last week with a 354. Danny Bohner led Greenville with an 84, followed by Matt Crittenden at 85 Ryan Davis 89, Chris Ralph 96 and AJ Ebels 98.
