Laingsburg scored 45 points to take fifth place in the Division 3 regional at Ithaca for girls track and field recently. Erica Halick was second in the 100 meter hurdles in 16.63.

 

Bath scored 58 points to take third in the Division 3 regional at Ithaca for girls track and field recently. Annie Fanta won the 800 meters in 2:22.82. The 3,200 relay of Tessa Hosford, Kwyn Trevino, Faith Brown and Anne Fanta was first in 9:50.81.

 

Ithaca scored 86 points to take second in the Division 3 regional at Ithaca for girls track and field recently. Eric Sheahan was second in the 200 meters at 26.45.

 

Pewamo-Westphalia scored 185 points to win the Division 3 regional at Ithaca for girls track and field recently. Kenzie Wieber was first in the 100-meters. Brenna Wirth won the 200 meters in 26.45 and the 400 meters in 1:00.72. Kelsey Schmitz won both hurdles. P-W won the 400, 800 and 1,600 relays.

 

Chippewa Hills baseball team lost 2-0 to Tri County in the Division 2 district semifinals Saturday to end the Warriors’ bid for their fourth straight title. Tyler Williams took the loss for Chippewa Hills and Kyle Peterman was the winner in a no-hitter for Tri County. Chippewa Hills ended its season at 17-15.

 

The Big Rapids girls soccer team advanced to the championship game of Division 3 districts against host Ludington Saturday and lost 4-0 to end the Cardinals’ season.

The Big Rapids Crossroads Charter Academy won the Division 4 district title with a 1-0 win over Wyoming Potters House. Kate Haner scored the winning goal for Crossroads.

 

Chippewa Hills defeated Tri County 15-4 in the district finals for the Division 2 softball title on Saturday. Cassidy Johnson was the winning pitcher in both games. Olivia Wolfe had three hits in the first game.

 

St. Charles scored four points for 17th place at the recent Division 3 regional track and field meet at Ithaca. T.J. Ostrander was seventh in the 1,600 meters in 4:53.92.

 

Ithaca’s boys track team scored 11.5 points for 14th place at the recent Division 3 regional track and field meet at Ithaca. Kobe Lee was fifth in the pole vault at 10-9.
