Lansing Catholic reigned supreme this season as Division 3 state champs after shooting a team score of 633 at the finals June 7 at Grand Valley State University, Patrick Gillespie led LC with a 152, followed by Brent Marshall with 156, Niko Voutsara 160, Owen Rush 165 and Adam Elias 173.

Mount Pleasant shot rounds of 343 and 342 for a 685 to tie for 14th place June 7 at the Division 2 state finals at Michigan State University. Jack Pilkington shot a 162 for Mount Pleasant while Eddie Trudeau had a 175, Colton Utterback a 177 and Dan Kozlowski a 178.
Mason had rounds of 319 and 330 for a 649 to tie for ninth place earlier this month in the Division 2 boys state golf finals at Michigan State University’s Forest Akers West Golf Course. Tristan Brunst had a 152 for Mason, followed by Jason Brandt with 159, Kaleb Peterson with 164 and Coy Culver with 175.
East Lansing shot rounds of 328 and 318 for a 646 to take eighth place in the state Division 2 boys golf state finals at Michigan State University’s Forest Akers West Golf Course. Joe Croom had a 149, followed by Ian Carroll with 161, Logan Wilcox with 168 and Paul Gagner with 171.
DeWitt had 18-hole teams scores of 322 and 318 to finish seventh in early June in the Division 2 state golf finals for boys at Michigan State Unversity’s Forest Akers West Golf Course. Geoffrey Croley had a 152 for Dewitt, followed by Owen Beyer with 153, Cody White with 170 and Mike Coscarelli with 171.
Zach Rosendale represented St. Johns in the Division 2 state finals for boys golf in early June at Michigan State University and shot nine-hole scores of 76 and 76 for a 152.
Josh Arbour represented Grand Ledge as its only player in the Division 1 state boys golf finals earlier this month at Michigan State University at Forest Acres East Golf Course. He shot rounds of 79 and 73 for a 152.
Ben Roeder of Midland Dow won the individual state championship this season at Forest Hills Akers East Golf Course at Michigan State University. Roeder had two rounds of 70 and 71 for a 141. He tied with Jordan Bohannon of Birmingham Groves, Ben Zyber of Swartz Creek, Seth Terpstra of Grandville and Joel Pietila of Rockford for first place. Roeder won on the third playoff hole.
