Lansing Waverly placed in a tie for fifth with 23 points in the state boys track and field Division 2 finals at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids recently. The 3,200-meter relay team of Dartanian Cook, Florian Schwarb, Trestin Mancellas-Finnerty and Qadir Muhammad was third in 8:00.14. Emmanuel Kirkland was seventh in 15.74 and Kevin Kirkland eighth in 15.98 in the 110-meter hurdles. East Lansing scored one point in the recent Division I girls track and field state meet at Rockford. The 800-meter relay team of Chino Ekwueme, Essence Whitaker, Brianna Wells and Elizabeth Jones II were eighth in 1:43.08

 

Bay City Central scored one point in the recent Division I girls track and field state meet at Rockford. Brandi Thomas was eighth in the shot put at 39-0.

 

Lowell scored two points in the recent Division I girls track and field state meet at Rockford. Rachel Walters was seventh in the 400-meter dash at 57.59 seconds.

 

Grand Ledge scored two points in the recent Division I girls track and field state meet at Rockford.  Hailey French was seventh in the long jump at 16-10 1/4.

 

Bay City Western notched six points to tie for 30th place in the recent Division I girls track and field state meet at Rockford.

 

Midland scored seven points to tie for 27th place in the recent state Division I girls track and field meet at Rockford. Rebekah Walter was fifth in 45.08 seconds in the 300-meter hurdles.

 

Midland Dow scored 10 points to take 17th place in a tie in the recent Division I girls track and field state meet at Rockford. Kali Dent, Carlee McGee, Erin McDonald and Beth Hoffman was seventh in 9:20.93. Dent was seventh in the 1,600-meter run. Erin McDonald was seventh in the 800-meter run in 2:15.14.

 

Greenville scored 11 points to take 16th place in the recent Division I girls track and field meet at Rockford. Landon Kemp was third in the pole vault at 12-0. She was fourth in the long jump at 17-9 ½.

 

Okemos scored 14 points to tie for 12th place in the recent Division I girls track and field meet at Rockford. Ashlynn Schiro was first in the 300-meter hurdles in 43.09 seconds and fifth in the 100-meter hurdles in 14.51 seconds.
