Haslett scored 19 points to tie for 14th in the state girls track and field Division 2 finals at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids recently. Alison Rich was eighth in the long jump at 16-7 ¾. She won the 100-meter hurdles in 15.30 seconds. Rich was second n the 300 hurdles in 46.20.
Ionia scored 20 points to place 13th in the state girls track and field Division 2 finals at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids recently. Hailey McRoberts was third in the 100-meter dash at 12.56 seconds and second in the 400-meter dash in 57.3 seconds and third in the 200-meter dash in 25.68.
Eaton Rapids scored 22 points to tie for 10th place in the state girls track and field Division 2 finals at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids recently. Bailey Baker placed third in the shot put at 39-3 ¾. Kathryn Mills was second on the high jump at 5-6.
Lansing Sexton scored 25 points to place seventh in the state girls track and field Division 2 finals at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids recently. Erin Howard threw the discus at 127-5 for fourth place and the shot put 39-1/2 for third place. The 400-meter relay of Nyiah Brown, Alexis Washington, Lori Lewis and Andrea Koenigsknecht was second in 49.80. Koenigsknecht was third in the 300 hurdles in 46.45.
St. Johns scored 13 points for tie for 21st place in the state girls track and field Division 2 finals at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids recently. Karrigan Smith won the 1,600-meter run in 4:51.53 for a new state finals record and was seventh in the 800-meter run in 2:18.89. Kayla Kraft was eighth in the 3,200-meter run in 11:42.70.
Essexville-Garber scored eight points to tie for 29th place in the state girls track and field Division 2 finals at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids recently. Cheyenne Williamson placed sixth in the 100-meter hurdles at 15.74 seconds and fifth in the 300 hurdles in 47.10. Alexis Elliott was eighth in the 400 dash in 59.88.
Mount Pleasant scored three points and tied for 54th place in the state boys track and field Division 2 finals at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids recently. Kalebb Perry of Mount Pleasant cleared 6-4 in the high jump.
Lake Odessa-Lakewood scored four points and tied for 50th place in the state boys track and field Division 2 finals at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids recently. Noah Caudy was fifth in the 300-meter hurdles at 40.06 seconds.
St Johns scored six points and tied for 38th place in the state boys track and field Division 2 finals at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids recently. The 3,200-meter relay team of Matthew Ouerkirk, Ryan Kramer, Collin Nurenberg and Codey Cook was seventh in 8;08.13. Steven Linton was seventh in the 400-meter dash in 49.71 seconds.
Charlotte scored two points in the state boys track and field Division 2 finals at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids recently. Sy Barnett cleared 6-4 in the high jump for seventh place.
