Game 1

The team played a solid game with a lot of offense.
Haslett 4 – Charlotte 8
Jadyn Smuts earned the W on the mound. He pitched 5 innings, recorded 8 strikeouts, and only gave up 1 earned run. Eann Spotts came in to relieve and threw 2 innings, struck out 3, and gave up 1 earned run.

Game 2:
After falling behind 2-0 in the first inning the Orioles battled their way back. They scored 1 run in the 2nd, 1 run in the 5th, and then Greyson Seavolt had a walk-off hit to drive in Cutler Brant in the bottom of the 7th.
Nathan Penfield started the game with a 28-pitch inning. But, after getting settled in he completed the next 6 innings with only 57 more pitches, averaging less than 10 pitches an inning! Nate continuously improved as the game went on with 3 of his 5 strikeouts coming in the 7th inning, which put an exclamation point on what ended up being one of his most impressive outings.
