The Frankenmuth Eagles traveled to Birch Run and defeated the Panthers 56 – 7. The Eagle offense was no match for the Birch Run defense as they scored twice in the 1st quarter on a Hunter Leddy 7 yard run and a Cole Jankowski to Cole Lindow 43 yard screen pass TD. The Eagle offense continued to dominate in the 2nd quarter. Lindow scored on a 23 yard run and Quarterback Aiden Hoard scored on a 13 yard run and the the Eagles had a commanding 28 – 0 lead. The Panthers scored at the 3:20 mark of the 2nd quarter on a 10 yard TD pass but on the ensuing possession, it only took one play for the Eagles to score as Jankowski sprinted 62 yards.

After the defense forced a punt, Hoard connected with Drew Titsworth on a 14 yard TD pass with twenty seconds remaining in the half and Frankenmuth led 42 – 7. The Eagles scored twice in the 2nd half on a 3rd quarter Lindow 15 yard dash and a 4th quarter Jack Rich 3 yard run. Seth Malmo was a perfect 8 of 8 in the PAT department for the game. The Eagle defense limited the Panthers to 108 yards total offense. Michael Carter led the Eagle tacklers with eight followed by Ashton Benkert with six. Jankowski picked off his third interception of the season. The Frankenmuth offense totaled 387 yards with Lindow reaching the 100 yard rushing mark for the third game of the season, finishing with 101 yards on 9 attempts. Both Jankowski and Hoard were 3 of 4 passing for a total of 109 yards between the two. The win marked the 100th career head coaching win for Coach Phil Martin, with 82 of those wins as the Head Coach of the Eagles.

The Eagles will take their 3 – 0 record into next weeks game when they host the Bay City John Glen Bobcats in the first meeting between the two football programs. Game stats are attached below
