MILLINGTON – The Cardinal baseball team lost a double-header to Hemlock on Tuesday night by the scores of 7-3 and 12-2.

Leyton Mays, Drew Kihn, and Will Kirby each had one hit and one RBI to lead Millington offensively in game one. Kihn’s hit was double.

Calvin Dipzinski suffered the loss for the Cardinals after relieving starter Luke Sherman.

Austin Kirby suffered his first loss of the season in game two.

Will Kirby led the way with two hits and an RBI.

Kihn added his second extra-base hit of the night with a triple. A double by Jordan Rabideau and singles by Brody Germain, Sherman, and Casey Dipzinksi rounded out Millington’s offense.

The Cardinals (8-5, 4-2) will return to action this Friday, April 30 when they host Montrose. First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
