The Frankenmuth Eagles gave up an unearned run in the top of the first inning, and 3 more in the second to set the tone as they dropped the game 8-2. In all, Frankenmuth had 9 errors in the game in a poorly played game. When you mix in some walks and hits then end up with 9 miscues, it creates a lot of base runners and thus 8 runs.

Brooklyn Compau took her first defeat, giving up 8 runs, 4 ER, 6 H, 11 SO, 4 BB and 2 HBP.
Offensively the Lady Eagles got only 2 hits as Olivia Bell, pitched a good game mixing up her pitches to keep the Eagles hitters off balance. Tiffany Keller and Faith Breinager had the only two hits.

Frankenmuth will look to bounce back in a non conference game Thursday at Reece. Their overall record is now 7-2 and 3-1 in the conference.

Coach Walraven: “Not much to say about this game. We came out flat, satisfied we took game 1 and played poorly. Thats on me. Currently we are not a team that will score a lot of runs so our defense has to play well and tonight it did not. We will bounce back, Im confident in our team.”
