Meridian girls basketball fell to host Clare 54-37. Fun game and a great atmosphere for a regular season finally. Really pleased how my girls bounced back from Wednesday’s game. They Played with heart, passion and enthusiasm. That’s all you can ask for as a coach. Meridian falls to (6-8) on the season and head into district with a mindset to compete.
Meridian will play the winner of Farwell/Harrison on Wednesday at 6.
Meridian coach Tanner Smith: Meridian was led by Taylor Hopkins with 11 points. Jenna Holzinger with 9 points and 9 rebounds. Grace Chinavare had 6 points and 6 assist.
Clare was lead by senior Bailey Taylor with 24 points on senior night. What an amazing floor general she is and what a performance she had tonight.
