The Montabella Mustangs travelled to Carson City-Crystal to begin the second half of their league play for the season. The first quarter began with solid team defense from the Mustangs, and great communication on the floor. Sara Courser hit two big threes in the first quarter, and Madison Jordan had multiple steals and deflects on the defensive end to spur the offense in the first quarter. After going tit for tat with the Eagles, the Mustangs went in to halftime down 15-18. In the second half, the Mustangs only allowed Carson City 4 total made shots, but could not get their own shots to fall. The girls lost 31-17. On Wednesday night, the Mustangs will travel to Ashley.
