| The Montabella Mustangs played a great first half on Friday night at Merrill. Starting the game off on a 12-0 run and entering the half with a 22 point lead. The Vandals however, would not go down easy. They made a run of their own in the third quarter but the Mustangs were able to hold them off. Final score, Mustangs 52,Vandals 42. JT Smith scored 29 points on the night along with 6 rebounds. Eder Lopez and Keegan Ferguson both snagged 8 rebound while Caleb Theisen grabbed 6 boards and dished out 4 assists. The Mustangs are now 3-5 on the season and host Carson city on March 2nd. Jv tip 6pm. |
