MILLINGTON – For the second straight game the Millington Cardinals played six quarters. Unlike the double-overtime loss to Standish on Tuesday night, the Cards came out with the higher score this evening defeating St. Louis 73-69.
Senior guard Casey Dipzinski led the charge for Millington tonight as he scored 15 points and dished out six assists. His free throw shooting was clutch as he finished 7-8 from the charity stripe. Kaden Wisenbach had a team-high 19 points, grabbed five rebounds, and dished out four assists. Calvin Dipzinski and Nick McClain each had 11 points. Calvin finished with six rebounds and drew two charges. McClain grabbed nine rebounds. Millington (1-1) will host Nouvel Catholic Central (0-1) on Tuesday, February 16.
