Alma defeated Swan Valley in a hard fought game. SV jumped out to a 7-2 lead, then Alma closed the quarter on a 9-0 run. At the 1/2 Alma 23-17, 3rd Alma 39-32, then Alma closed on a 19-8 run in the 4th.
Hard nosed defense and balanced scoring paced the Panthers tonight. Alma tallied 28 deflections and 6 players nailed a 3 pter.
Alma was led by Paul Gadde’s 13 pts & 10 rebs, Cade Frillici added 11 pts, David Apple 9, AJ Omans 8, Mike Howey 7.
SV was led by Braylen Himmelein’s 10 pts and Lucas Seamon added 7.
