The Montabella girls came out ready to go with lots of great moments both offensively and defensively against the Merrill Vandals but lost 3-0
Montabella coach Stephanie Hoyt: “We started off strong in the first set, Sydney Adgate helped lead the team with passing in the back row with 2 digs and 9 passes to lead to hits. We went into our next set with heads high ready to fight back. Both Sara Courser and Madison Jordan had 1 block and multiple touches on the ball to assist the back row. We came into the third set with more fight with Makenna hitting the ball and placing it in play 7 times. Overall, we struggled with overcoming the small battles. We continue to work toward the end goals with baby steps and small victories. We will continue to keep pushing forward with more great moments and hitting the ball back at our opponents. You can find us again at home against Crossroads Charter on Friday, Varsity starts at 7.”
