Comments The Redwings and Bulldogs played about even throughout the 1st quarter with the Redwings taking a 11 – 9 lead into the 2nd quarter. St. Johns broke the game open in the 2nd quarter by outscoring Mason 15 – 3 in the quarter and went into the locker room with a 26 – 12 lead. The Bulldogs came out in the 3rd quarter and cut into the Redwings lead. Mason went on a 9 – 4 run and trailed 30 – 21 at the beginning of the 4th quarter. St. Johns made 6 of 11 free throws in the final quarter and held the Bulldogs scoreless as they cruised to the victory.
