The Ovid-Elsie Lady Marauders improved to 11-5 (8-4 MMAC) with a 60-34 win at Montrose. Caitlyn Walter netted 15 points for OE, while Madison Cunningham knocked down three triples en route her 13 points. Lauren Barton added 11 points, Tristin Ziola and Allison Reppenhagen 4 points each, Kiah Longoria and Braylon Byrnes 3 points each, and Kalista Bancroft and Onie Rademacher 2 points each.
The Marauders got out to a 17-9 first quarter lead and then outscored the Rams 18-4 in the second to take a 35-13 lead at half. A 10-10 third quarter made things interesting but the Marauders finished with a 15-11 fourth quarter to put the game away.
OE will travel to Birch Run on Tuesday before hosting Mt. Morris next Friday for “senior night”. Game time is slated for 5:30 p.m.
