The Montabella Mustangs traveled to Coleman to face the Comets on Wednesday night. The Comets jumped out to an early lead, but the Mustangs responded and continually chipped away at the lead, but Coleman held off their efforts to bring the final score 63-54.
McKeegan Ferguson played an all around great game scoring 16 points while pulling in 12 rebounds as well.
JT Smith scored 17 points, with 4 rebounds and 4 assists.
Austin Pawlowski scored 11 points and had 3 steals.
The Mustangs return home against Breckenridge on Friday, JV tip isat 6pm.
