It was two teams playing hard nosed defense all night. At the end of the 1st, Alma 8-5, second Alma 20-12, 3rd Alma 32-24, Alma then pushed the lead to 13 before Freeland hit back to back threes to cut it to 6. Solid defense and free throws sealed it for the Panthers 46-39.
Alma’s Case Martin put on an incredible display with 16 pts 10 rebs 4 steals and the clinching dunk, Paul Gadde added a solid 11 pts & 9 rebs, and AJ Omans sparked the rally with 9 second half pts and 5 steals.
