Michigan Lutheran Seminary and Nouvel faced off against each other on Saturday. MLS won 54-47. The game started off slowly and was tied 6-6 after one quarter. MLS won the second quarter 17-6 and held onto the lead the rest of the game. The Panthers played tough in the second and cut the lead to six but MLS was able to hit some free throws and seal the win. Nouvel’s Luke Losa scored 16 points to lead all scorers. His teammate Zaiden Mitchell had 10. MLS was led by A.J. Alcorn with 10 pts, 8 reb, 5 ast, and 4 steals. Tobias Edgett came off the bench and added 10 pts. Ethan Mayeda and Logan Pankow both finished with 8 for the Cardinals.
