Comments from coach Mark Lasceski: Both teams played even through most of the first quarter. The Hornets took a 12 – 10 lead into the 2nd quarter and built a 17-11 lead midway through the quarter. The Redwings finished the 2nd quarter on a 5-1run to trail 18-16 going into halftime. Williamston came out in the 3rd quarter and outscored the Redwings 16-8 to build a 34-24 lead going into the 4th quarter. The Hornets continued to extend their lead in the 4th quarter and went up 40 -24. St. Johns was able to cut the to 13, 40-27 but could get no closer as Williamston went on to the victory.
