Alma lost 66-52 to Fowlerville in the season opener.
Fowlerville used a 20-point 3rd quarter to open up a 10-point lead. Poor FT shooting held Alma back all night finishing 14 of 27. Alma made a furious comeback to cut it to 2 before the lead pushed back to 10 and was finally ended at the line at the 14-point spread.
Alma was led by Paul Gadde’s 12 points. Fowlerville was led by Brendan Young’s 18 points, Billy Hutchins 15, Carter Young’s 16, and Jack Schroder nine.
Alma hosts Bridgeport on Friday to open TVC play.
