Lansing Sexton posted a 13-3 halftime lead and advanced to a 19-3 win over Ionia in CAAC action on Friday Oct. 4 in Lansing. Rasmus Anderson kicked a 27-yard field for Ionia in the second quarter. Darrell Dillard ran for a 4-yard touchdown in the first quater. Dillard had another 21-yard touchdown run and it was 13-3 at halftime.
Amonte Douglas completed a scoring pass of 51 yards to Dontel Wright.
Douglas was 6-of-15 for 145 yards. Dillard gained 122 yards on 20 carries and Wright had nine attempts for 50 yards.
