Ovid Elsie lost to Montrose 49-7 in football action on Friday. It was 21-7 at halftime and Montrose had a 28-0 advantage in the final two quarters.
Ovid-Elsie trailed 14-0 in the second quarter when Cooper Beard ran for a 12-yard touchdown to cut it to 14-7. But that’s all the points the Marauders could muster. Aaron Hurst passed for 35 yards and ran for 36 yards. Cooper Beard ran for 63 yards.
