Ovid-Elsie tennis coach Ed Tyler sees a lot of improvement for his team this season.
Ovid-Elsie competes in the Mid-Michigan Activities Conference.
“We had three seeded players at regionals and our overall record was 2- 9-2 and league record was 1-3,” Tyler said. “We had some amazing players and they will be missed. They all contributed in their own ways to the team. This year we have eight returning players and two new players. The returning players are the following:
Seniors – Eian Bushard, Mason Spiess, Skyler Brown Vidalia Wenzlick and Greg Rademacher; Juniors – Tristan Densmore; Sophomores – Caleb Hall, Gavin Densmore
Newcomers – Sophomore Madison Manchester and Freshmen Justice Moore.
“We expect to have a better winning season and a better record from last year,” Tyler said. “This is the second year of our new conference and last year Chesaning won the conference and I see them being this year’s favorite to win as well.”
