It came down to the last play but Ithaca lost to Byron 8-7 on Friday. Ithaca lost despite outhitting Byron 11-7. Ithaca scored three runs in the seventh inning. Ithaca’s offense was led by Derek Draher and Reed Thomas wno drove in all the runs. Cameon Smith took the loss for Ithaca. He allowed one hit and two runs in four innings. Chan Mccormack and Malek Thompson had multiple hits for Ithaca.
