Coleman coach Clark Swerdan: We had a good start to the game, tied at 8 and then they went on huge 15-0 run. We never recovered. They executed really well and had 10 3’s in the first half 14 for the game. We had a pretty good second half. Starting out on a 9-3 run. But then they answered and we basically played them even in the second half.
“We dug ourselves too big of a hole in the first half. They play great unselfish team basketball and great defense. That’s why they’ve won or shared the league title for 3 straight years.
We are now 4-4 (3-3 in MSAC). We host St Louis next Tuesday.
Carson City won the JV game 52-39. Bo Carbeno had 12 pts.”
