Goodrich junior Maddie Voelker named High School Sports Scene Female player of the week

Goodrich High School junior Maddie Voelker has been named High School Sports Scene player of the week. Voelker put up 30 points vs. Ortonville Brandon and 35 against Kingsley to help the Martians open up the season 2-0. Voelker shot 64 percent from the floor including going 7-of-11 from beyond the arc. She also averaged 5.5 rebounds. The junior standout has already committed to Northwood University.
