The St Louis Volleyball team hosted the Spirit of St Louis tournament and went 3-2 on the day. In pool play, they beat Clare (25-18, 25-14); lost to Freeland (23-25, 23-25); and beat Onaway (25-11, 25-15). In the gold quarterfinals they beat Garber 23-25, 25-16, 15-6 but lost to Mt Pleasant 20-25, 22-25. They are now 21-19-3 overall.
Shark leaders for the day were Megan Greenup with 83 assists, 2 aces, 11 kills, 19 digs and 4 blocks; Madeline Greenup with 46 digs, 3 aces, and 1 assist; Allyssa Roberson with 8 aces, 17 digs, 2 assists, and 1 block; Rylyn Hrabal with 8 aces, 22 kills, 25 digs, 2 assists, and 1 block; and Tara Goodell with 29 kills, 5 aces, 7 digs, and 9 blocks.
