The WMD Tournament started out with high energy from the Big Rapids Crossroads Cougars as they faced off against Marion. CCA lost the first set 17-25, but made a comeback to win the second set 27-25. In the third set, they couldn’t hold a lead and lost 9-15 placing them in the loser’s bracket of the double elimination tournament. In the front row, Kenzie Cole had 2 assists while Natalie Chapman had 2 kills, and Triston Murray had 4 blocks. In the back row, Natalie Chapman had 12 serve receive passes and 12 digs while Triston Murray had 3 aces.
