| Crossroads girls traveled to Portage on Saturday to run at the annual Portage Invite, joining over 7,000 athletes from over 300 high schools. The Cougar girls competed in the Division 4 race with 178 runners. Jaylen Schroeder earned a medal for her 15th place finish for her season’s record time of 20:51. Emily Chitwood also earned a medal for her 40th place finish, smashing her previous Personal Record by 2 minutes with a time of 22:22. Leah Davis performed admirably in this highly competitive field, finishing 129th. Courtney Hudson broke her previous Personal Record by nearly 2 minutes, finishing 167th with a time of 31:05. |
