FRANKENMUTH – Millington lost it’s fourth straight game to rival Frankenmuth on Friday night by the score of 35-12.

Drew Germain led the Cardinal offense on Friday night. The senior quarterback was 5-11 passing for 24 yards. He also rushed for 101 on 20 carries and one touchdown.

Jack Shreve carried the ball 18 times for 69 yards and one touchdown. Shreve also had 22 yards receiving on three receptions.

Defensively Shreve had seven tackles. Bradyn Henderson and Trevor Sherman each had six tackles apiece.

The loss drops Millington to 5-2 on the season. The Cardinals finished their last season in Tri-Valley East with a 4-1 record good for second place.

The Cardinals will host Alma (6-1) on Friday, October 12. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. With one win Millington will qualify for the playoffs for the 15th consecutive year.
