The Big Rapids girls golf team won its 3rd CSAA tournament at Moss Ridge GC in Kent City. The Cardinals shot a 354. They were led by Hope Thebo who was low medalist with an 82. Holly McKenna had her lowest score of the year with an 84. Vallery Seay and Lauren Posey posted 94’s. Payton Fuller-101 and Avery Chaput-108. Coach Mark Posey: “The girls played well today. They are continuing to try to understand how to play golf and get better at it. Coach (Howard) Strom and I are looking forward to working with them these next few weeks to prepare their games for a chance to getting better. We are at the Bedford Valley Invitational this coming Saturday. Jorga Ray for Chippewa Hills posted her personal best today with an 88.
