Crossroads started its season off with a home opener against Manistee Catholic Central on Thursday. The team swept MCC in three sets (25-15, 25-21, 25-22) to start the season with a win. Kenzie Cole was the ;ead setter on the night with over 10 assists. Jada Meeuwes led the team with 6 kills followed by Triston Murray with 3. Samantha Taylor led the team in passes with 17 on target passes and 2 passes resulting in kills. Our lead servers were Triston Murray with 4 aces and Samantha Taylor with 3. “It was a strong debut for our team as they worked well together, had great communication, and showed a glimpse of what they will be able to bring to the season,” coach Kristin Yates said.
