The Central Montcalm Lady Hornets played a tough Grant team and took a loss on the first league volleyball game of the season. CM lost 22-25, 25-21, 14-25, and 18-25.

CM is 6-4-3 overall and 0-1 in the league and plays at the Montabella invitational Saturday Sept. 8 and the next league action is Monday at Newaygo.
