Beal City Middle School teams perform well

The Beal City Middle School Cross Country team competed at Thursday’s John Bruder Classic in Shepherd. The Lady Aggies placed third out of 20 schools and were led by Tailor Onstott (12:29.5) and Kaylee Locke (12:29.7) in 2^nd and 3^rd. Rylee Sisco (29^th, 14:53.6), Genevieve Lasater (42^nd, 15:18.2), and Haylee Long (46^th, 15:28.5) rounded out the girls’ scoring. Emma Carlson, Addyson Zuker, and Bella Davis all completed their first Cross Country race over the standard 2-mile Middle School distance. In the boys’ race, the Aggies lone runner, Owen Gross, placed 11^th in a field of 130 runners as he finished in 12:28.7. The Jr. Aggies will compete at home on Tuesday next week in the Beal City Invitational.
