BR Volleyball played at McBain Wednesday night against Traverse City St. Francis and McBain Public.
Big Rapids’ first match was against T.C St. Francis. Big Rapids lost a hard fought battle 22-25 and 21-25. “We played with energy and tried things offensively that we’ve been working on in practice.” Big Rapids coach Chelsea Nelson said.
Big Rapids beat McBain 25-21 and 25-22. “McBain put up a fight and did a great job at grouping points,” Nelson said.” Overall we had a successful night. The girls played hard and came out with an energy that they haven’t had yet this year.”
