Owosso XC ran in its second invite of the year Tuesday at the Shiawassee County Fairgrounds. Runners survived the heat and showed just how tough they are under such grueling conditions. Jordan Sowash pulled away from the pack and won the large school division race by 31 seconds. He has come away with two first place finishes this year and is setting himself up to have a very successful season. Mason Collard also was able to finish in the top 10 with a 9th place medal and a great race. As for the girls, Mirranda Libbey finished in the top 5 for the second straight race with a great race plan where she went out controlled and picked runners off the rest of the race. She is looking great so far and is running very smart. After another week of practice we will have our first Flint Metro Jamboree next Wednesday.
