Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart made its debut in 8-player football on Friday and lost to Hillman 34-27. It was also the debut for new coach John Ruggles. In upcoming weeks, Sacred Heart will play at Kinde-North Huron on Aug. 30 and at home with Deckerville on Sept. 6.
