Okemos defeated Mason 21-17 on the road in the season opener for both teams on Thursday. Okemos coach Mike Krumm: “It was heckvua high school football game. Mason showed physicalness and was a tough challenge for us. It’s a huge start for confidence. You know what you have to do the future. We have a better idea of what it will take to win on the road.”
