The Big Rapids Cardinal Girls golf team took 2nd today at the Traverse City West Invite. The CArdinals shot a 360 at Interlochen GC. They were led by Hope Thebo who shot an 82. Lauren Posey posted a 90. Vallery Seay shot 93, Holly McKenna shot a 95. Payton Fuller-100 Avery Chaput-103. Kiali Stout-132, Chloe Miller-132 and Hannah Pins -135. Harbor Springs won with a 351. Hope Thebo was tied for 2nd overall and Lauren Posey was 12th overall. “It was good to see the girls compete in some rainy weather and learn to handle it. We came close to winning today and hopefully learned that if they want to achieve their goals that they are going to have to continue to improve. We are in action next at Central Montcalm on Thursday and then again on Friday at Katke for our Lady Cardinal Invite,” said Big Rapids coach Mark Posey.
