Alma improved to 5-0 on Sept. 22 with a 48-28 win over Shepherd. Drew Humm threw a 37-yard pass to Brandon Huff. Brec Alward had a 60-yard run for a TD Humm also threw a 26-yard pass to Huff. Alward also had TD runs of 24, 3, 30 and 37. Alward gained 263 yards on 27 carries. Humm was 12-of-14 in passing for 206 yards.
