POSITION:                           VARSITY WRESTLING COACH
 
LOCATION:                          CHARLOTTE PUBLIC SCHOOLS 
                                            HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT 

ASSIGNMENT/RESPONSIBILITY:             We need a coach who can lead the wrestling program and teach the basic skills and fundamentals of high school wrestling.  Support the varsity athletes to prepare the team members socially, mentally and physically in order to meet the challenges of life and contest.  Support and direct the entire program to create excitement for the program and to continue to develop a competitive program.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:             High school diploma, knowledge of the sport and rules, experience as a participant preferred, documented record of success in handling high school age student/athletes preferred.  Experience coaching wrestling at the high school (or higher) level preferred.  The individual being sought must possess strong personal ethics, be a positive professional role model, and demand from players a high standard of conduct and discipline.  Must be able to communicate with athletes, coaches, and parents.
