The Oscoda Area Schools announces the following Teacher Vacancy for the 2017-2018 School Year.
Position: One (1) High School Math Teacher Full-time position, grades 9-12
Effective Date: August 25, 2017
Salary: Per the OEA Master Agreement
Salary range $34,555 – $63,512
Based on degree and experience
Required Qualifications:
* Must hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with secondary certification and an EX endorsement
* Must be certified and highly qualified to teach high school Math and one additional core subject
* Must meet all Michigan Department of Education requirements
* Must meet certification requirements for this assignment
* Must be proficient in computer applications and software
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prefer candidates with a proven track record in improving student success
* Prefer candidates with successful experience coaching at the Middle School or High School level
* Prefer candidates with working experience in on-line student grading, attendance and standard-based report cards
* Prefer candidates with experience integrating technology into the curriculum
* Prefer candidates with knowledge of Common Core Standards
