A week after coming close to upsetting state power Ithaca, Clare notched its first win of the season with a 42-20 win over Beal City on Friday. Clare led 14-6 at halftime and outscored Beal City 28-14 in the second half. Clare players include Tucker Roe, Brenden Sersaw, Gage Denton, Tyler Rodenbo and Travis Vida.
