Macomb Dakota’s season ended at 38-3 with a 4-0 loss to Farmington Hills Mercy in the Division 1 state title softball game July 18 at Michigan State University. Dakota didn’t score a run despite three hits from shortstop Corbin Hison. Kendahl Dunford was the losing pitcher.
